Best Toenail Fungus Remedies – My Story

Monday, November 9th, 2009

This is Sandra and if you are looking for the best toenail fungus remedies, then I’m very happy you found this website and strongly suggest you read on…..

This is my unbiased toenail fungus story. The good, the bad, the things that just didn’t work and finally the one thing that helped me remedy my toe nail fungus for good. If you can’t be bothered reading then click here to see how I got rid of my toenail fungus.

For starters, I was embarrassed to go outside in sandals, not cover up my feet and really it dented my confidence. I mean, I’m happily married and am certainly not at the age to be dating men, but it was still something that concerned me quite alot. I had been sufferring from toe-nail fungus for ages (2 years+) and I was really sick and tired of it and decided to do something about it..

I tried white vinegar, I tried listerine and I even tried bathing my feet in warm water. All of them failed to work in the slightest way and I really wasn’t getting anywhere. I’d been to see the doctor and all he said was basically “hygeine, hygeine, hygeine” but I wasn’t dirty anyway… I found that a little bit insulting actually! So I carried on washing and soothing my feet in foot baths, warm water and vinegar etc and all it did was hurt. It really was painful.

So I started looking online, and among all the same information I’d already been told (rubbish about listerine, vinegar and all of that nonsense) I eventually found this Zetaclear. It is homeopathic (I think that means natural) and comes in a spray solution which strangely enough you spray under the tongue. They also give you a brush-on bottle which you just apply on your nails morning and night so it’s quite convenient. Click here to look at it if you want.

The brush-on solution was fine, it didn’t smell at all. But the tongue spray was horrible! Seriously, it tasted not very nice at all in all honesty but I have to say it did the job in just about 5-6 weeks, and my feet were completely back to normal in just 3 months! It might sound alot, but I was seeing results after about 3 days although nothing major at that time.

To combat the taste of the spray, I found that using some boiling water with squeezed lemon mixed in took the taste away almost instantly. And don’t worry about it washing the spray away because I read the label and it said you’re alright to drink after because it goes through the bloodstream anyway ….

Also, put vitamin E oil on it once a day normally about lunchtime if possible and drink about 4-5 glasses of water per day if you can. These are just toenail fungus remedies which I thought helped to work well alongside the Zetaclear treatment – you don’t have to do them if you don’t want :-)

Anyway, that’s pretty much it there’s not much more to say to be honest. I know how you’re feeling right now and it really is depressing, but just have faith that you will cure it in the end and I hope you have the best of luck in doing so. Thanks for checking out the page and hope too that you found this useful. Talk to you soon and you can click here to see the product I’m talking about.

What Is The Best Toenail Fungus Treatment?

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Even though i haven’t tried them all, I tried a lot of toenail fungus remedies altogether and only one solved my problem. I tried soaking my feet in vinegar, using a cotton swab and warm water to wash my toes – everything!! They just didn’t work at all to be perfectly honest.

Here is some more information about how zetaclear nail solution works. Homeopathic labs and doctors have been testing and using natural ingredients of zeta-clear for many years to treat other nail problems and so they decided to use some of these minerals to create a solution named Zetaclear.

It is a oral spray that you simply spray under your tongue (which actually tastes suprisingly nice) 2-3 times a day and goes through the blood kind of like a painkiller to ease symptoms and relief pain. There are also special oils in the box which are the pefect treatment of toenail fungus. They come with a soft brush that you just brush over the nails in the morning and at night. They say you should do this on the fingernails too, but i think that’s just a bribe to make you buy more and I didn’t bother. Click here if you want to see more about it.

Of all the toenail fungus remedies I tried, this is actually the least medicinal in smell. It actually smells quite lemony and fresh and includes a mix of lavender in there too. Even though I didn’t use it on my finger nails, I kept using it on my feet for about 5 months. This is because if you stop using it too soon, it can come back because there was still a small particle of fungus remaining under the nail itself.

Basically there is no “silver bullet” but Zeta clear is – I would say – a surefire way to solve it over time. It took me about 6 weeks to get rid of the actual fungus-look, but about 3 months for the swelling to reduce almost completely and for my nail to finally return to its normal colour which was great!

Like I said I also used Vitamin E oil in my treatment time which I thought helped to speed up the process a bit and I’d advise you do the same too. I also had a theory that drinking more water than usual would help clear out the system too. I don’t know whether this helps or not but I drunk 4 or 5 glasses a day.

Alternative Toenail Fungus Remedies

Friday, October 30th, 2009

Back about 200 years ago, there was absolutely no way of curing toenail fungus. I’m sure if a cavewoman or man had it he wouldn’t just go down to his local pharmacy and ask for some drugs. But nowadays the situation is very different. In this article I am talking about various treatments and toenail fungus remedies.

Firstly, you must make sure that you don’t use nail varnish to paint your nails and disguise them. You must also not use nail varnish remover as it is can cause serious harm to your nerve endings in the toe. In addition, fake nails aren’t an effective toe nail fungus remedy even though they look good!

If you’re using a modern treatment such as an ointment or medication then it could be good to try vitamin E too. Apply some vitamin E oil morning and evening with a cotton swab and carefully wash over the nail with it. Then, push the swab around to the side of the nail and if possible underneath. This might cause some slight pain just make sure your careful and gentle. It’s worth a try in conjuction with a professional treatment.

When I was first looking for toenail fungus remedies online, I found a lot of information about vinegar in particular, white vinegar. It looked like a good alternative to the expensive ointments and paint-on treatments so I gave it a go. Personally, I found it didn’t do a thing and would advise you not to bother. It also is quite painful.

There are many toenail fungus remedies out there. It’s just about doing some research and making a decision that you think will work best for you. I will keep you updated.
